Lacey are a British rock band from Nottingham, England. The band started out in 2011 with Graham Turner (lead vocals and bass), Josh Lewin (guitar and vocals), Pete Maksymiw (guitar) and David Pearson (drums and vocals).  A love for football was the serendipitous meeting for the quartet as through mutual friends they found them selves on the same 5 a side team but after a lack of footballing ability they rekindled a previous past-time for them all in the way of music, which had been dormant since the demise of previous bands. So they started Lacey. The band found their feet through endless writing and releasing two EP’s in their first year – ‘What Use Is Wasting Time’ and ‘Chapters’ respectively. It was their well received third E.P ‘Outlaws’, however which set the platform for the band to tour the country and play shows with acts likes of The Blackout, The Dangerous Summer, Patent Pending, People on Vacation and The First. After a busy year for the band, Lacey got to work on their fan-funded debut album ‘Under the Brightest Lights’ set for release April 20th 2015. They ended 2014 playing with their first arena show at the Capital FM arena in Nottingham, opening for legendary lad James Blunt, before filling out their own headline show at Nottingham Rock City. 2015 has already seen Lacey release their first single ‘Tonight’ from their debut album in collaboration with Steel City Studios and Drop Dead Clothing.
