2016 review

2016 will no doubt go down as a bit of a catastrophe for music – it took so many all-time greats from us that it makes it hard to appreciate all the good stuff that happened and all the great records that were released. We’ve made a playlist of our favourites at the bottom of this post. Check it out and share.

For us as a band, 2016 was probably our best year to date. Kicking it off with a huge, unforgettable tour with our pals Bowling For Soup, finally playing the elusive main stage at our beloved ROCK CITY, releasing our EP ‘I Don’t Owe The World A Thing’, seeing off the legends that are Motion City Soundtrack on their farewell tour over the summer, and a couple of sell-out headline shows the four of us will never ever forget. It’s going to be a tough one to top.

2017 will definitely mean new music from us and we’re deep in the writing process. We can’t say when, but we can say we’ll be taking our time to get it right. We’re at a bit of a crossroads in our career, so we owe it to ourselves and to you guys to put nothing less than our absolute best into it, so whatever happens we’ll at least know we’ve given it our all.

All we ask from you guys is a little bit of patience and for you to keep doing what you’ve always done – keep telling your friends about us and dragging them down to shows. Old fans and new; we really appreciate you all sticking by us and being part of this, it genuinely means the world to the four of us and we’re excited to share what’s next with you all.

Happy new year everyone. Thanks for an amazing year. See you in January/February 2017!
